[AUD] Jeff Austin & Friends at Horning's Hideout on 8-09-12

Jeff Austin & Friends
"Acoustic Jerry Set"
11th Annual Northwest String Summit
Horning's Hideout
North Plains, OR
2012-08-09

This set was one of the highlights of the entire trip. We arrived early and got our camp set up before heading down to the bowl to enjoy the music. After Pete Kartsounes dazzled us with his soulful rhythms it was time for Jeff Austin & Friends. There was a very large turnout for a Thursday compared to previous years. With good reason!

This entire set and the entire weekend was a tribute to Jerry Garcia. Pickin' to the Man.
Enjoy!

[AUD] Furthur at The Nateva Festival on 7-04-2010

Furthur
Nateva Music & Arts Festiva
Oxford, MN
07-04-2010

I watched this show on www.iClips.net the other day and was really surprised. I have heard the remaining members playing in various forms(Phil, RatDog, The Other Ones, The Dead...), but this new line-up is a vast improvement over the rest(sorry Bill & Mickey). Just one look at this incredible 4th of July setlist and you know it's gonna be good. They start getting warmed up during Mississippi half-step and it starts blazing during cold rain and snow then continues all the way through the end of the first set. The second set begins with 'St. Stephen' keeps the energy flowing through until the 'U.S. Blues' encore proving once again that the dead still have what it takes.

Furthur 2010 is:
Phil Lesh (bass, vocals)
Bob Weir (guitar, vocals)
Jeff Chimenti (keys, vocals)
John Kadlecik (guitar, vocals)
Joe Russo (drums)
Sunshine Garcia Becker (vocals)
Jeff Pehrson (vocals)

3. Samson and Delilah >
4. Half-Step >
5. Cold Rain and Snow >
6. Ramble on Rose >
7. When I Paint My Masterpiece >

Set 2:
